In May 2014, we learned how to sail and bought our first sailboat, an S2 7.3. Every weekend we would go sailing to practice maneuvering and adventure around Lake Michigan. In October 2015, we bought a larger boat to travel further and liveaboard fulltime. We've traveled to Chicago for an America's Cup Qualifying Race, sailed up to the North Channel for beautiful Canadian views, transited the historic Erie Canal, lived in Annapolis for a short while, motored down the ICW, and crossed the gulf stream to enjoy the Bahamas. We've lived aboard for almost two years now and could not be happier about this lifestyle. Sailing has given us the ability to work remotely, teaches us to live slowly, and allows us to travel affordably.

Not sure we'll bring our boat to Thailand but we'd love to go sailing there!
We're actually very indecisive people.

Words to live by
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - H. Jackson Brown
