Newport Vessels strives to offer the highest quality boats, trolling motors, and watercraft accessories on the market. That’s why we implemented the Float Your Boat Guarantee! It’s difficult to always know what you’re getting without seeing it, we not only want you to see the product, we want you to do whatever Floats Your Boat! We stand behind our products, and strive for 100% customer satisfaction with each sale and customer interaction. We want you to love your Newport Vessels purchase, if you don’t love it, we encourage you to send it back within 30 days for a refund. All returns must include the original box, packaging and associated paperwork.
Newport Vessels cannot accept returns or refunds on boats once they have been registered, or products which have been modified or tampered with. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. All returns are subject to a return fee (see Hassle Free Return section for details).
Rest assured, 99% of Newport Vessels customers are 100% satisfied with their purchase, and we strongly encourage the other 1% to ship the item back within 30 days for a refund. We may contact you to learn why you’re not satisfied, but this is for us to learn from your experience so that we can improve our products, services, and offerings for the future!
TO BEGIN YOUR RETURN:
Call Newport Vessels customer service during business hours at (866) 721-0002, we are located in California and are open from 8:30am-4:30pm Pacific Standard Time. We will process the return for you, email you a shipping label, all you have to do is pack it up and drop the package off at your nearest FedEx location!
STEPS TO YOUR RETURN
Step 1: Call Newport Vessels during regular business hours. We will create a prepaid return label for your return, and email it to you.
Step 2: Pack your product in its original box. Ensure the package is secure to safely make it’s return trip to our warehouse. Remove or cover all barcodes and labels on the box, this will minimize the chances of it getting lost or misplaced during shipping.
Attention: Customers are responsible for damages incurred due to improper packing.
Step 3: Securely tape our return label to the box, use packing tape to ensure it won’t be ripped off during shipping. Drop off the package at your nearest FedEx location.
Note: Write down your tracking number, this is to protect you in case the product is lost during shipment.
Step 4: Once the item arrives at our warehouse, please wait 10 business days for your refund to process. Refunds will be processed back onto the original method of purchase.
Hassle Free Return
We ship a lot of stuff, so we have a discounted corporate shipping account with FedEx. To help save you money, we’d like to create your label; that way, you receive the same volume discount rates that we do. We can track your return through our account, so you don’t have to worry about it!
- Boats have a standard $100 return fee.*This covers the return shipping and restocking costs.
- Trolling motors have a standard $40 return fee.*This covers the return shipping and restocking costs.
Think you can beat our shipping rate? Do whatever floats your boat! You’ll still need to create a return merchandise authorization number (RMA Number) with our customer service agent and provide us the tracking info. Returns which have not been processed through our system, returns which show up unannounced, or returns which do not have an active RMA number, will be rejected.
Products must be returned in their original Newport Vessels box, using the original packaging method. Products returned without original packaging will be subject to a rigorous inspection and additional 10% restocking fee. We do not accept returns without an RMA number, all returns must be processed by a Newport Vessels customer service member.
Using Our Label
We create your return shipping label for the same dimension box we ship your item in. If you are using a different dimension box for the return trip, you will be responsible for any additional shipping charges incurred.
Receiving Your Refund
Returns will be refunded onto your original method of purchase. Please allow 10 full business days from our warehouse receiving the returned product for your refund to be processed. Items returned in their packaging will be refunded the original price of the item, minus the return fee.
- No returns on pre-owned or second hand equipment.
- No returns from outside the USA on any equipment.
- No refunds will be issued on modified equipment or components that have been modified or tinkered with in any way. You modify it, you get to keep your creation!
- All shipping costs are nonrefundable.
- No returns or refunds on registered boats, or registration fees.
- No refunds on damages due to improper packing.
Buy the wrong item? We get it, hindsight is 20-20, even we make mistakes sometimes! If you are wanting to exchange your Newport Vessels product for a different one, follow the procedure detailed above.
Newport Vessels is not able to accept returns on vessels which have previously been registered. Registered boats are non-returnable and non-refundable.
