Replacement Controller

This is a warranty replacement of my original controller. There was a significant delay when pressing buttons for the type of battery and the power button, This new one seems to be working okay with much better response times.The warranty process went smooth as well. Will post back if the new controller acts up in any way.

I’ve had my controller in use for a year now. It’s still working, but had a bit of a grinding noise when using the throttle. I contacted Newport about it, and they very quickly sent out a new part for me at no cost. I live in Canada, so it took a little while to get. They made sure I got it at no additional cost and told me to keep the grindy one for spare parts. What great service!

Great motor for my Hobie!

I've been using the NK-180S on both my Hobie Outback and my Hobie Pro Angler 14 360 and it works great on both. I had a similar issue as other reviewers in that my controller was only showing about 40% of the pixels most of the time (some times it showed them all). Contacted support and they had a replacement out to me within a day.
