Note: Please note the manufacturer’s warranty does not mean that you can abuse your Newport Vessels product and expect us to replace it for free. We don’t cover normal wear and tear on a product, or just outright ridiculous accidents like dropping your motor in the ocean, or using your dinghy as a bumper for for your 36' sailboat (seriously, we've had some interesting claims). Other incidentals such as loss, theft, or not following the care instructions provided in the Owners Manual may result in a denied warranty claim.

Inflatable Boat Life Cycle

Inflatable boats are tough, they are not indestructible and do not last forever. Every Newport Vessel boat has a useful product life cycle. The length of that useful product life cycle will vary depending on the maintenance and care the boat receives, the amount and type of use the boat is subject to over its life, and sometimes more importantly how the boat is stored when not in use. Our website and our employees are the best source of care and information for your Newport Vessels boat. Read our Resource Guides to learn recommended use, as well as proper cleaning and storage procedures.

Newport Vessels boats are guaranteed to arrive free of workmanship or manufacturing defects, we will replace boats which do not meet this high standard upon arrival. However as any inflatable owner knows, small air leaks can and will develop over time, as is the nature of an inflatable product. Newport Vessels will evaluate these leaks on a case by case basis and will recommend one of the following solutions: patching a leak with our repair kit (if your boat did not arrive with one, contact us for a free kit), a Warranty replacement, or a more advanced repair. To submit a warranty claim, we require clear, well lit photos of the product which clearly show the issue, and a thorough description of the product issue. Blurry, dark, or indistinguishable photos or incomplete descriptions of the issue will not be accepted, and will delay the processing of your warranty claim. 

Inflatable Boat Warranty

Two Year Limited Warranty - (Warranty is non-transferable)

  1. We guarantee that each new inflatable boat and its accessories (hereinafter to be referred to as the “product”) is free from defects in material and workmanship.
  2. This warranty applies only to defects in material and workmanship, it does not apply to normal wear and tear, or to damage caused by:
    • Neglect, abuse, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal or improper use, improper assembly, or failed repair attempts.
    • Use of an accessory or part neither manufactured nor sold by us.
    • Alteration or removal of parts.
    • Commercial use.
    • Improper protection against UV-light.
    • Extended exposure to the elements; sun, water, moisture, or humidity.
      • Newport Vessels inflatable products are manufactured with treated PVC materials. PVC material by nature (all brands & all models) will begin to breakdown, over-time, if left out in the elements. This warranty does not cover cases where products have been improperly protected against the elements for an extended duration. Please click here to view the difference between PVC and Hypalon.
  3. This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential costs or expenses such as haul-out, launching, towing transport and storage charges, telephone or rental charges of any type, inconvenience, waste of time or income losses, or other consequential damages.
  4. The customer must provide reasonable access to the product for warranty service by delivering the product for inspection to a dealer authorized to service the purchaser’s product. If a purchaser cannot deliver the product to such authorized dealer, the purchaser shall notify the company in writing. We shall then arrange for the inspection and repair, provided such service is covered under this warranty. The purchaser shall pay for all related transport expenses and/or any other expenses associated with that service. Any product or part shipped by the purchaser for inspection or repair must be shipped with transportation charges prepaid.Taking photographs and emailing them may suffice with Newport Vessels approval.
  5. Our obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing a defective part, or at our discretion, replacing such part or parts as shall be necessary to remedy the malfunction resulting from defects in material or workmanship as covered by this warranty. We reserve the right to improve the design of any product without assuming any obligation to modify any product previously manufactured. Each Purchase is entitled to one warranty claim submission and approval, once the claim is processed and approved, the Purchase is no longer eligible for future warranty claims.
  6. Boats purchased from unauthorized retailers are not covered by this warranty such as 3rd party Amazon resellers, eBay resellers, or other liquidator.
  7. Boats purchased as "Refurbished" or "Renewed" or "Used", are not subject to this warranty

Trolling Motor Warranty

Two Year Limited Warranty - (Warranty is non-transferable)

  1. We guarantee that each new electric trolling motor (hereinafter to be referred to as the “product”) is free from defects in material and workmanship.
  2. If your product arrives in a badly damaged box, please notify Newport Vessels immediately. If the box has been opened during shipment, simply refuse delivery of the product and it will be delivered back to our warehouse so we can ship you a replacement. 
  3. This warranty applies only to defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase, it does not apply to normal wear and tear, or to damage caused by:
    • Neglect, abuse, accidents, theft, abnormal or improper use, or modification.
    • Use of an accessory or part not manufactured or sold by Newport Vessels.
    • Alteration or removal of parts.
    • Commercial use.
  4. This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential costs or expenses such as haul-out, launching, towing transport and storage charges, telephone or rental charges of any type, inconvenience, waste of time or income losses, or other consequential damages.
  5. To obtain warranty service for the Product believed to be defective, the customer must provide reasonable access to the Product for warranty service by Shipping the Product for inspection to the Newport Vessels distribution center. The customer must include in the shipment, and proof of original purchase. We shall then arrange for the inspection, repair or replacement, provided such service is covered under this warranty. The purchaser shall pay for all related transport expenses and/or any other expenses associated with that service. Any product or part shipped by the purchaser for inspection or repair must be shipped with transportation charges prepaid. Taking photographs and emailing them may suffice, contingent upon prior approval from a Newport Vessels manager.
  6. Newport Branded Accessory Warranty

Two Year Limited Warranty - (Warranty is non-transferable)

  1. We guarantee that each new Newport Branded Accessory (hereinafter to be referred to as the “product”) is free from defects in material and workmanship.
  2. If your product arrives in a badly damaged box, please notify Newport Vessels immediately. If the box has been opened during shipment, simply refuse delivery of the product by the delivery driver and it will be returned back to our warehouse so we can ship you a replacement. 
  3. This warranty applies only to defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase, it does not apply to normal wear and tear, or to damage caused by:
    • Neglect, abuse, accidents, theft, abnormal or improper use, or modification.
    • Use of an accessory or part not manufactured or sold by Newport Vessels.
    • Alteration or removal of parts.
    • Commercial use.
  4. This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential costs or expenses such as haul-out, launching, towing transport and storage charges, telephone or rental charges of any type, inconvenience, waste of time or income losses, or other consequential damages.

Railblaza Five Year Limited Warranty (Exclusions Apply)

RAILBLAZA will repair or replace faulty RAILBLAZA product at its sole discretion, no cover is given for any other loss resulting from the use of any RAILBLAZA product even when used in accordance with published instructions or video guides.

The warranty does not cover product alterations, abuse, incorrect use or any use outside that stated in the published instructions or video guides. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, and covers defective materials and workmanship only.

The warranty period on RAILBLAZA products are on a product by product basis and starts at the time of the Product's original purchase by the first end-user. The Product may consist of several different parts and different parts may be covered by a different warranty period. The warranty period is 5 years unless stated below;

• Navigation lights – 2 years
• Flexible parts – e.g. SandTrakz Wheels, rubber retaining straps – 2 years

This Limited Warranty extends only to the original first end-user of the Product and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser/end-user.

To claim a warranty the customer must produce proof of purchase being invoice or similar document. The customer must also present the defective product for evaluation by RAILBLAZA, any costs associated with the return of the product are to be borne by the customer, in most cases digital photo’s or video is enough to make the assessment on.

RAILBLAZA reserves the right to decide how the assessment is made, and to hold warranty until the defective product has been assessed. In normal obvious defective product situations, the retailer may give replacement on the spot then make the claim on RAILBLAZA, this will be at the retailer’s discretion.

Please, in the first instance, contact the retailer you purchased the product from, RAILBLAZA Ltd will assist with warranty claims if the customer cannot resolve the issue with the retailer, or if a technical opinion on validity of the warranty claim is required.

ePropulsion Warranty - Two Year Limited Warranty

Warranty Policy - ePropulsion warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a limited period since the date of purchase. Once a fault is discovered, the user has the right to make a warranty claim under the ePropulsion warranty policies.

Out of Warranty - Make sure the product is properly packed during delivery, the original ePropulsion package is recommended. If the product got further damaged due to improper packing during delivery, the furtherly damaged part will be deemed as out of warranty coverage.

In addition, faults or damages caused by the following reasons are also excluded from warranty scope within the covered period:

  • Any improper operation contradicts the user manual.
  • Accident, misuse, wishful abuse, physical damage overcharging, liquid damage or unauthorized repair.
  • Dropping, improper care or storage

Important:

  • You should be noted that minor faults like normal wear and tear that pose no influence on the intended function of the product are also not covered by the warranty.
  • Consumables are out of warranty scope

Warranty Claim Procedures - If you find your product defective, you can make a claim to your dealer following below procedures:

  1. Fill in the Warranty Card correctly and completely in advance. Then make your warranty claim by sending it to your authorized ePropulsion service partner together with valid proof of purchase. Usually these documents are required when making a warranty claim: the Warranty Card, ex-factory serial number, and evidence of purchase.
  2. Send the defective product to your authorized ePropulsion service point after getting the confirmation. Note that the label should be kept intact. You can also deliver the product to your authorized ePropulsion dealer after getting confirmation
  3. The defective components or parts will be either repaired or replaced according to the diagnosis made by the ePropulsion authorized service partner.
  4. If your warranty claim is accepted, the equipment will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Note that any delivery cost incurred in the process is at your charge.
  5. After careful examination and confirmation by ePropulsion authorized dealer, the defective or faulty components will be repaired or replaced with brand new ones against the actual condition.
  6. In case your warranty claim be rejected, an estimated repair charge with round trip delivery cost will be sent for confirmation. ePropulsion authorized service point will conduct maintenance accordingly only after your confirmation.

If warranty expires, you can still enjoy maintenance services from authorized ePropulsion service partners with minimum maintenance charge.
