Free shipping and other shipping offers sent in emails or displayed on our site are only valid for customers within the mainland United States. If you live outside the continental US, territories and international shipments will need to reach out to Newport for a shipping quote to their location. Newport is not responsible for any duties, taxes or fees that are applied to shipments traveling abroad, including Canada and Mexico. This is the sole duty and responsibility of the customer to research costs and make payments for freight forwarding orders.

Daily Shipping

Newport ships every business day (M-F) at 2pm Pacific Time (excluding holidays) from our fulfillment center in California. If an order is placed after this time or on a weekend, it will ship the following business day. Newport utilizes UPS Ground for most orders. This is only valid for items that are in stock and not drop shipped items. If a customer would like to use a different shipper, you can request this by reaching out to Newport directly. UPS Ground shipments can take 1-7 business days depending on your location within the United States. Roughly 1-2 business days for the West Coast, 4 business days for the Mid West and 5-6 business days for the East Coast. Please view the UPS Ground Map below for an estimated delivery day. DUE TO COVID-19, SOME ORDERS MAY TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS.

Refunds and exchanges

If you have purchased directly through Newport, please use our Returns Program to assist you with this process. You will need the email you used to place your order, as well as your postal code. For our policy regarding returns, please read the following information below.

Newport Guarantee:

    1. 30 day guarantee begins on the date the product is delivered.

    2. Returns will be processed within 30 business days of the return arriving at the Newport warehouse.

    3. Returned products must be:

      • Clean and free of dirt, sand, stains, or debris. Unclean or dirty returned products will result in a cleaning fee at the discretion of Newport team.

      • Newport is not able to accept returns on which have previously been registered. Registered boats are non-returnable and non-refundable.

      • Undamaged. Products damaged through abuse, accidents or neglect cannot be returned. Any items found to be damaged will be assessed a repair charge. Newport reserves the right to determine and assess the refundable value of damaged products.

      • In sellable condition. Returned items must be resold. Newport cannot accept returns in less than sellable condition.

      • Complete with all parts and accessories shipped on the original order. Incomplete orders will receive a partial refund.

    4. Customers returning eligible products will receive a refund for the purchase price of the product, not including any shipping charges or other charges.

    5. Refunds will be issued by the original payment method

      • If the original payment method is expired or cancelled then refunds will be issued by check. Please allow 10 business days for check processing.

      • Cancellation of large orders may result in a restocking fee. This applies to ePropulsion products and boat orders over $1500.

      • All ePropulsion orders include a $150 non-refundable deposit at the time of sale.

    6. Newport 30 Day Guarantee does not apply to:

      • Products not purchased directly from

      • Products purchased on eBay.

      • Items that are modified or customized. Item must be in original condition and not tampered with.

    7. 30 Day Guarantee does not apply if products have been:

      • Registered with the state or local government.

      • Damaged due to customer use or abuse

      • Holes drilled for attaching accessories

      • Glued on items such as D-rings, handles, Scotty mounting pads, registration numbers.

    8. Exchanges do not extend the 30 Day Guarantee, the Guarantee only applies to the original purchase. Guarantee does not apply to the exchanged item.

    9. 30 Day Guarantee applies to non-commercial use only. Any commercial use, including but not limited to rental operations, will void the 30 Day Guarantee

    10. To initiate the return process, please use our Returns Program to assist you with this process

      • Customers may be required to upload images of their returns.

      • Customers are responsible for paying return shipping fees upfront (if applicable).

    11. Newport Battery Return Procedure
      • Contact our customer support team for return instructions via email or phone (866-721-0002 or
      • Newport Batteries can not be processed through our Returns Program
      • Batteries must be returned in original packaging with hazard material shipping labels
      • Once a battery is approved for return by a customer service agent, the customer must bring the battery to a UPS store and pay return shipping fees.
