Overpriced/nickled and dimed

It is odd to me that the whole product came with a breaker but no on/off toggle. Everytime we stop using the product it has to be disconnected from the battery or the motor continues to draw power. Not great. Also, $80 for a piece of wire is a bit pricey. I cannot understand why the original motor only came with three feet of wire. While the motor is a nice product, a little underpowered, I felt nickled and dimed by the extension cord ...particularly when I will still have to add an on/off switch.

Does not fit NT600

Does not fit the NT600. Don’t spend $30 on shipping for it to not even work for your motor. Also it should say in the description somewhere for what motors it fits but doesn’t.

Why Marine Grade Wiring Rocks (Yer Boat)

The rubber-like flexibility of this electrical wire is far better on boats than the stiff construction alternative from Lowes/Home Depot. (see photos). The shrink-sealed fittngs on each end, and the connector hardware are also top-notch!

Used the extra wire just for flexibility if needed. Circuit breaker because sometimes I "Whoops", haha. Ran over my line last year blew the fuse and had to do work to get my kayak back in. Made a little battery box type thing - figure it will work pretty well.

Although I still haven’t used my motor yet as it is a project in progress, I’m very satisfied with the tests I have done. I’m using mine in a project for a kayak. I ordered two of these extensions, one 5' and one 10' but I only received two 5' extensions. I needed one for the bow a 10' cable for the 55lb motor. Also a 5' cable for the 86lb motor on the stern. I wish that the 5' cable be replaced with a 10' cable. This would be a plus for a five star review.

I ordered the wire extension kit and the 60 Amp. circuit breaker 6 days ago and neither has hasn't arrived yet.I've spent a fair amount of money with Newport Vessels bought the Kayak 55 lb. thrust motor, and a battery from them.I have missed two fishing trips because of the slow shipping. Haven't got to use the new motor yet.Very frustrating.
