Customer Reviews: Inflatable Boat Replacement Floor - Aluminum

Rated 1.67 out of 5 stars based on 3 customer reviews.

Website not Accurate

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars

I ordered the aluminum floor replacement for my Del-Mar. The website states that the Carmel and Dana have 2 wood bow pieces. The others have just one. I followed up with an email questioning this and was told after checking with the warehouse, the Del-Mar does in fact have only one wood piece and three aluminum. I received the floor and there was two wood pieces and two aluminum pieces. I reached out to them and never received an answer. Not sure why only half the boat would be aluminum.

Kits are not described accurately

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars

I emailed the Newport staff and asked how many panels were aluminum in the Del Rey inflatable boat AL floor kit , I asked them to look to verify that indeed the boat had 3 panels made of aluminum. I saw no point in spending that much for only two panels. I was told it was 3 panels. Well the the package arrived, it was 2 wood and 2 AL panels. I would have never ordered the floorboards had I known this. The only option I got was to send it back and wait for my refund. I ended up having to keep it as my wooden boards were swollen and split from water. (This is my fault as I leave it exposed to weather) I really feel the customer support could have done more to make it right. I will say the quality of the product shipped was good, which increases the review to 2 stars.
