Night and Day Difference — No More Communication Issues

I purchased the NK Controller with the upgraded HD Communication Cable Kit, and it has been a night-and-day difference. I was having communication and connection problems with my previous wiring, but since installing this upgraded setup, everything has been working great. The connection has been reliable, the controller performs exactly as it should, and I haven’t had any of the communication issues I was dealing with before. Very happy with the upgrade and would definitely recommend it.

I ended up breaking my last one. It is nice that you can buy the parts to keep your setup going if one thing breaks without having to purchase the whole unit again. I didn’t have the HD last time. The bigger connections are nice. Thanks!

NK180 Pro Replacement Controller

Talk about customer service. Filled out the form and without hesitation the warranty controller got approved and it was shipped in time for the next fishing trip the following week. Shipping usually takes awhile since I'm in Hawaii.

Bought a brand new...

Bought a brand new nk 300 i had a small issue with the thcontrol.And cathey will not connect it properly that frustrated me greatly but, with the help of customer service at Newport vessell they helped me to resolve the issue very quickly by troubleshooting just a couple connections. Make sure that your connections at your throttle controller/motor are clean and tightened down properly.

This is the perfect spare to have or if you have an old warn out controller! This is compatible with the NK180Pro along with the NK300! Quick tips: if you have issues with your controller, try to recalibrate! Head over to YouTube for the video. Also if you’re having more issues, plug directly into the motor bypasssing the communication cable! This will rule out a faulty cable

Wow, what a great company with an awesome product. I had purchased two NK180 Pro electric motors from Newport. The controller for one of them wasn't displaying my battery level properly. After explaining my issue to the service department and completing the proper warranty forms, I received a brand new controller in the mail. No haggling, no procrastination, no more questions or requirements, and FREE of any and all charges! They stand behind their products and what an absolute charm they have in the 180 Pro. I bought a NK300 in May of 2023 and didn’t take it out of the box until march of 2024 , when I did the motor controller handle was broken, I emailed Newport and they sent me a new controller when I explained to them what happened. No bullshit , “it’s been almost a year” ,”why are you doing this now “ they are 100% true to their product! I bought 3 of these motors and I love them! Great customer service!
