Code 00 : DC OVERVOLTAGE
Probable Cause: Battery voltage doesn't match
Steps to Solve:
- Change the Battery
Code 01: MOTOR DRIVE PCB OVERHEATING WARNING
Probable Cause: Running motor out of water for extended periods. Debris entanglement wrapped around the propeller/motor shaft
Steps to Solve:
- Unplug power source and check propeller for debris.
- Plug power back in and Press Power button for 2 seconds to reset the system
- If error code still shows up, wait until motor cools down and attempt again
- If error persists contact customer support
Code 02: VOLTAGE OF BATTERY IS TOO LOW TO POWER MOTOR
Probable Cause: Incorrect Battery is being used. Battery is running low and is in need of recharge/replacement
Steps to Solve:
- Press Power button for 2 seconds to reset the system
- If error persists recharge or replace battery
Code 03: VOLTAGE OF BATTERY IS TOO HIGHT TO POWER BATTERY
Probable Cause: Incorrect Battery is being used. Wrong battery type is selected
Steps to Solve:
- Check that correct battery chemistry/type is selected
- If error persists, Press Power button for 2 seconds to reset the system
Code 04 00: DC OVERVOLTAGE
Probable Cause: Battery voltage doesn't match
Steps to Solve:
- Change the battery
Code 04 01: DC UNDERVOLTAGE
Probable Cause: Battery voltage is too low/ Power cable connection is bad
Steps to Solve:
- Check if the connections are bad, if the connection is checked, try restarting the motor by long pressing the power button
- If the step one doesn't work, change the battery
Code 04 02: MOTOR SYSTEM DETECTED BATTERY OVERVOLTAGE
Probable Cause: Battery voltage doesn't match
Steps to Solve:
- Check if the battery mode is correct
- If the battery mode is correct, change the battery
Code 04 03: MOTOR SYSTEM DETECTED BATTERY UNDERVOLTAGE
Probable Cause: Battery voltage is too low/ Power cable connection is bad.
Steps to Solve:
- Check if the connections are bad, if the connection is checked, try restarting the motor by long pressing the power button
- If the step one doesn't work, change the battery
Code 04 04: MOTOR OVERTEMP
Probable Cause: Motor runs outside of water for too long time / Drive PCB didnt get installed properly
Steps to Solve:
- Stop the motor, wait unitl the motor gets cooled
- Long press the power button to reset the motor
Code 04 05: MOTOR UNDERTEMP
Probable Cause: Environment temperature is lower than -20 degree / Faulty sampling component
Steps to Solve:
- Bring the motor to a warmer place
- If the first step doesn't work, this error is not recoverable
Code 04 06: DRIVE OVERTEMP
Probable Cause: Motor runs outside of water for too long time / Drive PCB didnt get installed properly
Steps to Solve:
- Stop the motor, wait until the motor gets cooled
- Long press the power button to reset the motor
Code 04 07: DRIVE UNDERTEMP
Probable Cause: Environment temperature is lower than -20 degree / Faulty sampling component
Steps to Solve:
- Bring the motor to a warmer place
- If the first step doesn't work, this error is not recoverable
Code 04 08: MCU OVERHEATED
Probable Cause: Motor runs outside of water for too long time / Drive PCB didnt get installed properly
Steps to Solve:
- Stop the motor, wait unitl the motor gets cooled
- Long press the power button to reset the motor
Code 04 09: MCU UNDERHEATED
Probable Cause: Environment temperature is lower than -20 degree / Faulty sampling component
Steps to Solve:
- Bring the motor to a warmer place
- If the first step doesn't work, this error is not recoverable
Code 04 0A: LOCATION LOST
Probable Cause: Rotor zero position detection failed / Positioning component touched rotor / Motor shaft bent
Steps to Solve:
- Not recoverable
Code 04 0B: MOTOR STALL
Probable Cause: Motor stalled due to external force applied
Steps to Solve:
- Check the motor and remove any obstacles
- Long press the power button to reset the motor
Code 04 0C: MOTOR OVERCURRENT
Probable Cause: Motor has slight short circuit on coils / Motor phase currents are very not balanced
Steps to Solve:
- Long press the power button to reset the motor
- If the Step one doesn't work, this error is not recoverable
Code 04 0D: MOTOR OVERSPEED
Probable Cause: Faulty PCB
Steps to Solve:
- Long press the power button to reset the motor
- If the Step one doesn't work, this error is not recoverable
Code 04 0E: POWER ON FAILED
Probable Cause: Faulty PCB
Steps to Solve:
- Not recoverable
Code 04 0F: RESERVED
Probable Cause: N/A
Steps to Solve:
Code 04 10: COMMUNICATION LOST
Probable Cause: Communication signal is weak
Steps to Solve:
- Check if the connections are bad, if the connection is checked (especially, make sure the screw on the connectors is tightened)
- Long press the power button to reset the motor
Code 04 11: MOTOR DISCONNECTED
Probable Cause: Motor power cables are disconnected
Steps to Solve:
- Not recoverable
Code 04 12: HARDWARE OVERCURRENT
Probable Cause: Faulty PCB
Steps to Solve:
- Not recoverable
Code 04 13: LOW BACK ELECTROMOTIVE FORCE
Probable Cause: Faulty PCB
Steps to Solve:
- Not recoverable
Code 04 14: POWER INVERSION
Probable Cause: Rotor zero position detection failed / Faulty PCB
Steps to Solve:
- Motor needs to apply factory setup
- If the Step one doesn't work, this error is not recoverable
Code 20: COMMUNICATION LOST
Probable Cause: Singal cable COMPLETELY disconnected
Steps to Solve:
- Not recoverable
Beeping: BEEPING
Probable Cause: Beeping sounds, with and with out error codes present
Lines -- -- -- : LINE/DASHES
Probable Cause: Full screen dashes or last two lines of controller dashes - usually after an error code and recalibration.
