Great aluminum dinghy bench

The old bench for my Achilles inflatable was made of rubber coated plywood. It rotted. The spec calls for a 35.5 inch length. No one except Achilles makes an aluminum bench of this length, and it costs close to $200. Newport offers a 35 inch aluminum bench for less than half of the price. I figured that since it’s an inflatable, I have wriggle room to work with a bench that is half an inch short. It turns out the 35-inch bench by Newport fits perfectly. And it’s not going to rot like the original plywood piece.

Bought 8 ft 9 in Dana. Arrived yesterday a couple of days early. Put together with 7 yr olf Grandson. Great quality and Grandson was able to do all the air pumping. Looks and feels Super! Also separately ordered 2nd bench seat. Address for delivery was initially wrong, but very nice Service Rep. straightened out quickly. As soon as Maine fog clears, will get it in water. Great little boat

I purchased this boat to zip around the islands where I live. My grandkids give it two thumbs up. I bought an extra bench seat for the kids to sit on since we travel with chairs, towels, toys etc. that slide around on the bottom. We are having so much fun with it this summer.

My new seat

I purchased a second seat for my new Dana Inflatable. The package was left on my door step and the box was completely destroyed. I didn’t even have to open the box I just reached inside the hole and pulled the seat out. The seat was wrapped in the white foam the you use. When I opened the wrapping the seat was in perfect shape. You did a great job packing the seat. I can’t wait for spring so I can use my new boat. Thank You.

The Perfect Addition

The second bench seat is a perfect addition/compliment to complete the inflatable. Fits perfectly, while also added the cushion seat, with pocket storage. Comfortable for all and nicely designed!
