The updated NK180 HD features a newly redesigned lift arm with an angled (slanted) profile, replacing the straight lift arm found on earlier models. This design change improves performance and durability, but does affect the minimum depth range.

Maximum depth (deepest position): 19" from bottom of bracket to centerline of prop
Minimum depth (shallowest position): approximately 15.5" from center of prop to base of bracket

Need to run shallower? There's a simple workaround: add a second clamp, or reposition your bottom clamp above the black plastic stern bracket. This allows you to raise the motor higher to suit shallower water conditions.
