      NK 180. Had an issue with the speed controller. Filed a warranty claim. Kim with Customer Service sent a replacement. Excellent Representative and great Customer relations. 100% 5 Stars!

      Life Saver

      I lost my controller while fishing the KBF National Championship. I ended up speaking with their representative getting one overnighted. Their representative was incredibly friendly and helpful and the quality on the new controller was awesome.

      I was sent a unit as a replacement for a janky unit. Easy fast transaction and I am back in action. They even allowed me to keep my the defective unit for parts. Score! I want to hacksaw the throttle handle so it doesn’t catch my fishing line, and it’s nice to have a “practice “ piece. Great company to deal with.

      Stellar Service

      I’ve had my controller in use for a year now. It’s still working, but had a bit of a grinding noise when using the throttle. I contacted Newport about it, and they very quickly sent out a new part for me at no cost. I live in Canada, so it took a little while to get. They made sure I got it at no additional cost and told me to keep the grindy one for spare parts. What great service!

      Great motor for my Hobie!

      I've been using the NK-180S on both my Hobie Outback and my Hobie Pro Angler 14 360 and it works great on both. I had a similar issue as other reviewers in that my controller was only showing about 40% of the pixels most of the time (some times it showed them all). Contacted support and they had a replacement out to me within a day.

      Works like new. Old one had moister inside and would only use 75 percent of the throttle. Matt at Newport helped with the replacement part with fast friendly service. My experience was great.
