      My New Newport Trolling Motor

      I Have not used it at the moment, But I can a sure you that it is a great motor because I have one on my sons boat, I had to get one for myself..       New 55 Newport Trolling motor.

      I have had two before and they have worked well Just don't stand up to salt spray. rinsed my new last year model but when I took it out of my winter shed all the lights were dead and the motor would not start at all. All electric board wires were corroded off. So, I bought a new one that has been downgraded from copper wire to something else. I hope the new one stands up better.

      NV-62lb Trolling Motor

      Just what I needed. The boat I was installing this on required a shank length of 36"-perfect fit. It also required converting it from a transom to bow mount-Newport provided great instructions on how to do that. Had the maiden voyage two days ago-great results. Fish on!

      Makes fishing easier

      Using it on salt water areas. Easy to assemble. I like the the green power lights, so you know how much juice is left in the battery. This motor gave us all the power we needed to maneuver and around and stay where we wanted to fish. So far we love it. Thanks

      NV62 trolling motor overheats

      Nice motor, worked well first 3 days but started overheating and shutting off when trolling on windy days with my 2024 Tracker Grizzly 1754. Sending craft towards shore fast. Will start again after few minutes. Otherwise helps us catch fish for sure.
