The NK180PRO scoots my fully rigged Oldtown PDL106. Unreal speed for a vessel that isn’t known for it. This is gonna take my tournament fishing to new Heights!

How To Receive Boat Registration Documents

If you purchased a boat directly from www.NewportVessels.com, we will automatically mail the boat registration documents separately from the boat package.  If the boat was purchased new on Amazon.com, or another retail store, or you are the original boat owner and need replacement documents, please fill out our Boat Registration Form.

Serial or Hull ID Numbers are used to register boats with your local DMV. If you are having trouble finding your Hull ID, please see our article Where Is My Boat's Serial Number? The 9th character in the Hull ID is a letter. Often customers mistake an upper case "i", which is correct, for the number 1. Please pay extra attention to this as the forms need to be manually remade if this is incorrect.

Second-Hand Purchase

For customers that purchased a Newport branded boat secondhand, we are not legally able to issue documents to you. Newport can only produce the Vessel Bill of Sale and a Manufacturing Statement of Origin to the original owner.

The second or subsequent owner(s) will need to contact the original owner and have them fill out the “First Assignment” on the Manufacturing Statement of Origin to sign the boat over to you legally.
If the original owner does not have the boat documents, we still cannot make these under the second owner’s name. Please have the original owner fill out our boat document request form with their name and address on the receipt. Once they receive the boat documents from us, they can legally sign the boat over to you.

If the original owner is unreachable or deceased, please reach out to your local DMV to secure boat document forms.

If you have any additional questions about our boats please see our Boat FAQ Page. For more in-depth articles please see our Boat Support Page.
