What Comes With Boat Registration Documents

The boat documents Newport ships to its customers will include a Vessel Bill of Sale (VBS) and a Manufacturing Statement of Origin (MSO).

These are the only documents that are required from Newport, but each state may require specific forms for you to specifically fill out to register your boat. Documents are shipped separately from the boat and will come in a manilla envelope via USPS in 5-8 days from the time they are shipped from Newport or from the time you submit the form. The first set of boat documents are free of charge. These are legal documents and if the customer requests new documents because of their error you will be charged a fee.
