If your trolling motor has lost one or more speeds in forward or reverse, you may need to replace your Speed Switch (Part # 8 in your Owners Manual). The same speed switch is used in all of our Trolling Motors. This can be replaced in about 20-25 minutes with a Philips screwdriver and a pair of needle-nose pliers. Over 90% of speed loss can be attributed to a speed switch. Please see our Switch Replacement Guide to ensure you feel comfortable replacing this part.
