Excellent battery for the price
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
App is easy to use and battery holds up to strength and capacity advertised. Being able to see percentages gives me the best understanding of how much power I’ve used to cover distance in order to plan my way back to the ramp.

Good battery for kayak trolling motor
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Works great and it's lightweight. Ran a 36 lb thrust motor with it and went from 100% to 50% after 4 hours of mixed speeds. The Newport BMS app is simple and had no connectivity issues. Mine didn't come with the terminal covers it mentions in the manual

Good lightweight battery
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
The battery is great but the shipping was awful, the battery was held up for 3 days at UPS ten miles from my house because Newport didn't have the correct markings in the box for "Hazardous Materials" inside, lithium batteries are considered hazardous materials, the delay caused me to forfeit a kayak bass fishing tournament plus the $100.00 entrance fee.

replacement battery
Rating: 3 out of 5 stars
This was a replacement for one I bought earlier. It took way too long to get battery which cost me several weeks of fishing. I did not like that I had to send tons of photos of the battery, my setup on my kayak, my wiring, etc. But oh well. All companies have their policies I guess.

Excellent spin on marine batteries
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
For use as a trolling motor powered with another motor is excellent for keeping you in place and running your electronics. The app also makes it really easy to gauge how much power you’ve used throughout the day. Takes a lot of the guessing and hoping on batteries!

2 Lithiums Weigh 78 lbs Less, Same Juice

My two 11 lb lithium batteries perform equally well as my two 50 lb deep thrust ones. They charge up faster all for less than twice the price. The two Interstates weigh as much as my big fishing kayak does!
